Published by Leisure Arts, this magazine showcases some of the best designs of Winter 1993. It also has articles about designers, as well as new products and techniques. It is discontinued.

1. American Salute - In old, red, White, and blue, this patriotic design honors the birth of Betsy Ross (January 1), who is credited with sewing the first American flag with stars and stripes.
2. Buffalo Bill Shirt - Buffalo Bill would be mighty proud if he could see this Western shirt! Created in honor of the frontiersman born William F. Cody on February 26, 1846, the shirt features accents fashioned with a special suede paint.
3. Happy Birthday Mozart! - In observance of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birthday (January 27), this noteworthy bookmark applauds him and four other composers counted among the world's greatest classical musicians.
4. Reflection on Marriage - We pay homepage to the institution of marriage on world Marriage Day (February 14) with this pretty passage surrounded by a tapestry-like floral border.
5. Mr. Snowmen - To a child, there's no greater joy than awakening to a snow-covered lawn on a school day - except maybe cuddling up with our friendly snowmen afghan! the poem in our friendly piece conveys this sentiment with youthful humor.
6. Winsome Snow Pals - To celebrate the snow-sculpting contests held around the world in January, why not create our charming collection of paper-mache snow people? They're sure to be winners!
7. Valentine Sweater - These matchmaking bears know that you shouldn't wear your heart on your sleeve - it belongs on the front of your sweater where everyone can see it! On Valentine's Day, this sweet design will let that special someone know you're feeling romantic!
8. Lincoln's Day - In Abraham Lincoln's Day, women often fashioned colorful rugs and other furnishings to brighten their homes. To celebrate our beloved president's birthday (February 12), we stitched this needlepoint rug with fabric strips as a tribute to the humble Kentucky cabin where he was born.
9. Be an Encourager - If you know someone who's out on a limb this winter, encourage her to hang on with this inspirational wall hanging for Be an Encourager Day (February 1).
10. Romantic Roses - Throughout time, roses have served as sweet-smelling symbols of beauty and love, especially on Valentine's Day. For this reason, we used delicate dried rosebuds along with French ribbon lace, and pearls to create this Victorian-style topiary, keepsake box, and brooch. They'll make perfect Valentine gifts for a friend who's a romantic at heart.
11. A "Beary" Good Year - A joyous January bear and a flirty February pair kick off our year-long series of adorable teddies. In this issue, we show some of the cuddly characters with a wreath that you can use all year to display a different design each month. Charts for the other bears - including March, October, and December - will be given in upcoming issues, along with more fun ideas for making 1993 a "beary" good year!
12. Nifty Neck-Warmers - You'll be up to your neck in fashion this winter with these nifty mufflers. A unique feature makes them extra-cozy - a slip-through opening that lets you pull them securely against your neck. And the scarves are so easy to crochet, you'll want to make both a solid one and a striped one for your cold-weather wardrobe.
13. Zodiac Mugs - We looked to the stars to find the inspiration for these mugs - they feature the 12 signs of the zodiac!
