Published by Craftways Corporation, this magazine showcases some of the best designs of Nov/Dec 1987. It also has articles about designers, as well as new products and techniques. It used to be one of the top selling magazines until it was discontinued.

Included designs are:
1. Collector's Plate; Santa - A Santa so real you expect him to wink! Pictured on the cover, our 1987 collector's Plate features everyone's favorite Christmas visitor, rendered in exquisite detail.

2. Scandia Angel Christmas Ornaments - It's nearly the night before Christmas...and it's not too late for this project! With the ingenious use of Scandia Band, these angel ornaments go together in a jiffy.

3. Grapes and Pineapple Darning - Actually a form of weaving, pattern Darning is an ancient technique you'll see in handcrafts all over the world.

4. Double Reindeer and Snowy Day Handles - A basket overflowing with Cristmas goodies is a warm and welcome gift, made more so by the addition of these delightful basket embellishments designed by Liz Turner Diehl.

5. Botanical Classics Series; Tulipa "Rembrandt" - The tulip - the colorful, exuberant sign of spring - is the second in our collector's series of elegant botanical illustrations.

6. Christmas Goose Christmas Plaid - filling the house with sights and scents of the season is a special joy with this new collection of fabrics from Charles Craft called "Christmas Plaid."

7. Country Living - With a touch of humor and a sense of simpler times gone by, artist Ilona steel hammer fills her whimsical oil paintings with common folk and lots of animals.

8. Common Redpoll - Birdwatching has been Paula Minkbige's hobby for years, and when she was first introduced to cross stitch, she couldn't wait to stitch some of the beautiful birds she'd admired for so long.

9. French Horn with Chickadee - It's the first CS&CCelegant annual Collector's Ornament, designed by Camille Harrison.

10. Nutcracker Christmas Ornament - We'd need a forest of Christmas trees (well, almost!) to display all the wonderful holiday ornaments you sent us!

11. Christmas Sampler - Early winter snowflakes dance merrily on this mini-bellpull - it can transform and empty corner into a warm and cheerful Christmas setting.

Plus much much more! Thank you for looking and happy stitching!
