Published by Craftways Corporation, this magazine showcases some of the best designs of July/August 1991. It also has articles about designers, as well as new products and techniques. It used to be one of the top selling magazines until it was discontinued.
Included designs are:
1. In Praise of Trees Sampler - As symbols of the majestic power of growing things, trees inspire our awe. To salute our leafy canopy, stitch a multi seasonal sampler of trees - from the giant redwood to the low-branching cypress, from the palm of the tropics to the pine that favors snow-decked mountaintops.
2. Bath-time Buddies - Rub-a-dub-dub, three imps in the tub! Kitty, puppy, and bunny transform bath time (often an ordeal for the unwilling) into a rip-roaring, rollicking playtime.
3. Romantic Baskets - Stitch a spray of blooming hydrangeas to adorn a special basket, then craft a showy fabric bow that will always keep in shape.
4. Bargello - Cruise with ease, knowing that everything you need - maps, change for parking and tolls, sunglasses, notepad and pen, etc. - is in perfectly easy reach, stashed inside your visor organizer.
5. Stitcher's Primer; H is for Home - Filled with stitchery and flowers (from the first two designs in this series), our stitcher's home shines with beauty and love.
6. The Rustic Charm of Rustico (magnets, chip clips, and place mats) - To match Rustico's charm, here are four critters and the farm products we associate with them, to stitch onto place mats.
7. 1932 Chevrolet Truck - Patricia Gaskin loves historical subjects.
8. The Music Room Stockings - step into the music room and hear again the familiar old carols, festive brass, fanfares, and mellow strings that accompany Christmas choruses.
9. Floral Filigree -If you ply a needle, you deserve a fine pincushion. this elegant model takes the shape of a fancy parlor cushion, complete with cording and tassel.
10. Tropical Fashion Flair - Sail to the south Seas with rainbow-hued, cross-stitched "jewels." Choose from a tropical trio - parrot, hibiscus, or fish - that you can stitch faster than you could make reservations and pack for a cruise.
Plus much much more! Thank you for looking and happy stitching!
